Financial Aid Timeline
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit it ASAP after January 1. Indicate that CLU should receive copies of the results by using our code# 001133. California residents must file the FAFSA by March 2, in order to be considered for the Cal Grant. The FAFSA website is www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- After completing the FAFSA, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). Check it carefully for accuracy. Revisions must be made to your SAR if you filed the FAFSA using estimated figures. Make any necessary revisions or corrections and return it to the address located on the SAR. For more information about the FAFSA and SAR see the the FAFSA page sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Most awards will go out in mid-March to late April. If you have filed the FAFSA and have not received an award from CLU by that time, please call your admission counselor right away.
- Submit your acceptance of financial aid online by May 1st. If you do not receive your award until after May 1st, please submit your acceptance of financial aid by the date indicated on the award. Enclose the $300 tuition deposit to reserve your spot in the incoming class.
